Our journey
Live To Build was founded by Milton Fonseca on the principles of integrity, precision, and excellence. From a young age, Milton worked in construction alongside his family, developing a deep-rooted passion for building. He later graduated from the University of Toronto with a degree in Civil Engineering. Following his academic achievements, Milton gained invaluable experience during his military service and firefighting career, where discipline and efficiency are essential. This diverse background equipped Milton with the unique skills and vision to redefine the custom home building experience through Live To Build.

Our process
We are dedicated to ensuring a seamless client experience from start to finish. Our detailed in-take process allows us to understand client needs and objectives and curate a bespoke project plan.
Step 1: Initial consultation & assessment
An initial discovery call is booked, followed by an in-person consultation to discuss your renovation goals, budget and timeline.
Step 2: Project planning
Our team puts together a detailed plan that outlines all project elements. At this stage, we ensure that the project scope and budget are in alignment and adjusted as required.
Step 3: Construction & project management
This is when the work begins. Our trade partners are briefed on the project requirements and get to work. Throughout the project, we ensure transparent and direct communication.
Step 4: Completion & handover
At this stage we conduct a final walkthrough to ensure the project meets your expectations. Our team is available post-project handover to answer any questions once you’ve started living in your space.
